The primary focus of my practice is individual psychotherapy. Given that each person comes to therapy with a unique past and present set of circumstances, I greatly value spending time to create a treatment plan tailored to each person. I maintain a collaborative and goal-oriented focus throughout my work with clients.
On occasion, I organize and lead group therapy sessions. These groups generally meet weekly for 4-weeks. During these groups, we focus on a specific topic each week, such as symptom education, mood charting, and relapse prevention planning.
At times, it is important for a couple or family to meet with me, rather than the individual alone. In this work, we create set of goals all together and often focus on education regarding symptoms, skills building, and relapse prevention planning. This is often short-term and intended to enhance my primary work with the individual client.
RATES
My sessions are 50-minutes in length and my rate is $225 per session. All of my sessions are conducted online using a Telehealth platform called Simple Practice. I love working in this virtual way because it gives my clients many more options for days and times to meet. I know how difficult it can be to find time to travel to an office or to find childcare to tend to your little ones. This virtual work allows you to meet with me from your home, your office, or even your car (while safely parked, of course!). Whatever works best for you works for me—I don’t want my office location to be a barrier to you receiving the help you want. Also, working virtually allows me to work with women all over the state of California. So although I am in Sonoma County, feel free to reach out regardless of where in California you live.
For those of you using insurance, I am happy to provide invoices for therapy sessions, which you may submit to your insurance carriers for out-of-network reimbursement. But, please check with your insurance carrier first to determine your coverage.
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
